My HND student work 1988-89

I spotted this girl outside a record shop in Manchester, laiden with Bros badges. I playfully bantered with her that they wouldn't be around for that long.

I was introduced to Tony by one of my college lecturers who suggested he would be an interesting subject. Tony was eccentric, who had a small craft studio selling various leather artworks. He was also a session musician who had played with The Jam. He was a prankster, a man after my own heart!

I was walking along Dillwyn Street, Swansea and noticed this old chap through the window. I knew I had to get this shot as he fitted in his environment perfectly.

I happened upon this motley gang of lads in Manchester City centre, asked them to pose and they all fell naturally into place without any prompting from me.

A pavement artist taken outside HMV on Market Street, Manchester. I think I remember he was homeless too but can't quite recall. Sadly, things have become a lot worse of late.

Will Williams, dairy farmer and cow taken at six in the morning using natural light. A very amiable chap he was too. Brecon Beacons
